Video Game Programmer

We are looking for a highly skilled Video Game Programmer to join our development team and help build our next generation of titles. In this role, you will write the code that brings our game mechanics to life. If you have a deep understanding of software engineering, hands-on experience with top industry engines, and a drive to build exceptional player experiences, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Gameplay Mechanics: Write clean, robust, and scalable code in C++ and C# to implement core gameplay features, player controls, and interactive systems.

  • Optimize Game Performance: Profile and optimize code to ensure smooth frame rates, efficient memory usage, and stable performance across targeted platforms.

  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work directly with game designers, artists, and sound engineers to integrate assets and translate design concepts into fully functional game systems.

  • Navigate Multiple Engines: Build and maintain game features utilizing both the Unity and Unreal Engine development environments, adapting to the specific workflows and asset pipelines of each.

Qualifications

  • Programming Expertise: High-level proficiency in both C++ and C# programming languages.

  • Engine Experience: Proven experience working extensively with both Unity and Unreal Engine editors on video game projects.

  • Technical Problem Solving: Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, 3D math, and algorithm design.

  • Performance Tuning: Demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize complex software systems.

  • Passion for Gaming: A genuine enthusiasm for video games and a strong drive to create engaging, memorable experiences for players.

  • Team Communication: Excellent ability to discuss technical concepts clearly with non-technical team members and adapt to shifting project requirements.
